We've complied a list of our most frequently asked questions to help you while you shop at skiwear4schools. If you have a question or query, please have a look and see if the answer is on this page. I didn't receive an order form at school, how do I get one?

If you did not receive an order form with your skiwear4schools brochure, you can download a copy by clicking the link below.

Order forms should be filled in and returned to your ski party leader.

Can I get hire goods delivered direct to my house instead of the school?

All hire goods will be despatched in bulk direct to the school, we are unable to deliver hire goods to a home address. Once the hire items arrive at the school, they will be distributed to the pupils.

Can I request a shorter/longer leg length in the hire pants?

Unfortunately leg length is dependent on the waist size of the hire pant, we do not stock ski pants with longer or shorter leg lengths for hire.

The hire clothes I have ordered don't fit, what should I do?

If you order a hire item and find that the item is too big or too small, please contact your ski party leader who will then get in touch with us. Please do not contact us directly regarding this matter. Your ski party leader will then arrange for us to send you an alternative size.

I'd like to place an order on your website, how much is postage?

Postage via the website is £2.99 for purchased goods, this is a single charge for your whole order. If you place an order for hire goods, postage is free, however please note that hire goods will be despatched in bulk to the school and not direct to your home.

When I reach the end of the checkout, I'm asked questions regarding the school my child attends and the date of their school trip. Why do you need this information?

When you reach the final stages of the checkout, before you proceed to confirm payment, you will be asked 3 questions regarding the child that the order is being placed for:

1. What is the full name of the child attending the trip?
2. Which school does the child attend?
3. What date does the school trip leave?

These questions provide us with essential information to process your order, so you are required to answer them before you proceed to the payment area of the checkout.

I don't like using my card online, is your website secure?

Yes, our website is completely secure. All payments are completed through HSBC secure e-payments. Secure ePayments utilise 128 bit SSL encryption to process card transactions and have recently won the Credit Card Awards 2007 for Best Security/Anti-Fraud Development.

I've got too many items in my shopping cart! How can I amend the quantity of items?

It's very quick and simple to edit the contents of your shopping cart, simply click 'view cart' which can be found at the top of the right column. This will display the contents of your shopping cart. If you wish to reduce a quantity, perhaps you accidentally added 2 items instead of 1, simply change the number in the quantity box to the desired amount and click the 'update' button.

I want to remove some items from my shopping cart, how do I do that?

It's very quick and simple to edit the contents of your shopping cart, simply click 'view cart' which can be found at the top of the right column. This will display the contents of your shopping cart. To remove items from the cart, simple check the 'remove' box next to the item(s) you wish to remove and then click the 'update' button underneath.

I proceed to checkout but the payment will not complete. Has my order been received?

If you're having problems ordering online or you're unsure if your order has completed, please feel free to call us on 0871 226 3347 and we'll be happy to double check that we have received your order.

I'd like to link to the skiwear4schools website via our schools own website, how do I do that?

You can add a link to your school website which will allow parents to click and be directed straight to the skiwear4schools website. This provides an easy way to direct parents to the correct website to make their purchases.

All you need to do is click on 'home' on the top bar and scroll down the page. You will find an image here that can be used on your school website. Simply right click the image and save it to your computer. All you have to do next is email your IT department with the picture as an attachment and ask them to link it to www.skiwear4schools.co.uk
